Shirley was officially chosen to be a participant on Malta's largest television programme X Factor Malta Season 03 2021 #thesearchison. She auditioned with her original song  'Electricity'  and it was purposely written by herself for the audition. Her experience ended during the Six Chair Challenge, she is said that it was an unforgettable and learning experience.
